The dataset named EFF_rawdata.csv contains the raw data on pine regeneration at Effaråsen.
Effaråsen is an experimental site established in 2012 in Sweden where different retention forestry methods were implemented at harvest.
The study focuses on the following treatments:

- Regeneration Methods: Planting, Direct Seeding, Natural Regeneration
- Site Preparation: Mechanically site prepared, No mechanical site preparation
- Forest Retention Levels: 3% retention, 10% retention, 30% retention, 50% retention, 50% retention and prescribed burning

The site investigates the height, survival proportion/seed germination/recruitment of pine using different regeneration methods.

Data was collected in the field annually over five years (October 2017, June 2019, May 2020, August 2020, September 2021).
The surveys recorded various attributes of pine seedlings, including their height, vitality, and browsing status.
The data provides insights into the effects different regeneration methods, site preparation techniques and retention levels on pine regeneration.
