Description:
The dataset contains an annotated data file from a production study with nonce words, investigating the occurrence of stød in different morphological contexts.
In addition, the dataset contains the code that were used to generate the nonce words in the study.

Overview of the files:
Data.csv: A data file in csv format with annotations of the occurrence of stød in 24 different nonce stems read in nine different morphological contexts (i.e. 216 different nonce words) by 49 Danish speakers. The morphological contexts are one of three suffixes (infinitive, present tense or agent noun) combined with one of three compound types (not compound, compound with a noun as the first member or compound with a preposition as the first member).
Analysis.Rmd: A R-markdown file with the code used for statistical analysis and visualization of the data.
Carrier_sentences.csv: A file with the carrier sentences that the nonce words in present tense and agent nouns were read in.
Nonce_words_generation_code: A text file with the Python code that were used to generate the nonce words.
Data_column_description.txt: A text file describing the different columns in the datafile (Data.csv).

Source code information:
Analysis.Rmd was run in R studio (version 2025.09.2+418). This is freely available from cran.r-project.org. The following packages are necessary to run the R code: lme4 (version 1.1-3), emmeans (version 2.0.0), tidyverse (version 3.5.1), cowplot (version 1.2.0).
Nonce_words_generation_code was run in Python (version 3.10.6). This is freely available from python.org
